Installation Suggestions

Our Systems are designed to be maintenance free with a long useful lifespan.

It is recommended but not required to install the unit close to the point of use.

Home System

Installation of the Filter / Energizer-System in a residential home is relatively easy process. Finding a place close to the entry of the water service line is recommended. A particulate filter for the unit is directly connected to the energizer. The filter system should be mounted horizontally, and sufficient space has to be allowed to change the filter cartridge.

Always know where the main water shut off is located. The system is not designed for temperatures above 140F or below freezing.

Always follow regional code.

We do recommend installation by a licensed plumber.

The system provides the standard ¾” connection; adapters/ bushings are not included and can be purchased by the owner at a local hardware store, if needed.

A standard 110VAC electrical outlet is required within 5 feet of the unit.

The enclosure of the unit has a screw terminal to connect a wire to the electrical ground.

If the water pipes are metal, local code might require a grounding wire, bridging across the Energizer-Unit.
